Cheryl's Artwork!
My colored pencil class is over, but I may add more work as I complete it...

Here's a embossed floral piece, before and after burnishing with a white pencil; the difference is pretty amazing, given that no new color was added.

Here's an embossed leaf, before and after using a colorless blender on just the leaf.  The leaf really stands out nicely in the second picture.

Here's some cute cats, done from an outline in class.  They're purr-ific!

This is the central character of a story I've been working on for years, a lost princess.  While I'm not great at drawing shapes as perfect as I'd like, I am impressed with the color blends I came up with for her skin, hair, and tunic.  Her eyes should be a bit paler; I'll have to work on producing the color I want.

My next try has become a bit problematic, so I haven't finished it off yet.  This was supposed to be Brien, but unless I can make the picture more clearly masculine, it'll become one of Brien's cousins.  The way the picture looks at present, I can clearly see a personality to go with it, so I may just introduce a new character into the mix.  Again, I like the colors I generated, especially the eye color.
