Pronunciations:
How do say that name again?

At DragonCon 1999, I learned the proper pronunciation of many Pernese names and places (and a few non-Pern names).  This information wasn't formally presented, but I picked it from from how Anne said names, and from her son Todd who presumably learned from Anne, and a few names I learned from Harry & Marilyn Alm who have had lots of contact with Anne over all things Pernese.
Eventually I'll try to add to this list the proper phonetic symbols, but for now I'm just going to write things out in what I hope are more obviously pronounced syllables.

word pronunciation symbols
Nimisha ni-mish-uh
(short i's, no stressed syllable)
Moreta more-et-uh
(long o, short e and a)

lots more to come as I have time...
